How to find your ring size

Buying a ring online without trying it on is the part I get the most questions about. Here are two quick ways to find your size at home — no jeweller needed.

Method 1 — Measure with string or paper

Cut a piece of string, dental floss, or thin paper (about 10 cm long).
Wrap it snugly around the base of the finger you want to wear the ring on. It should fit comfortably — not so tight that it leaves a mark, not so loose that it falls off.
Mark where the string meets itself with a pen.
Lay the string flat against a ruler and measure the length in millimetres. That's your finger's circumference.
Find your circumference in the chart below to read off your size.

A tip from Sophi: measure at the end of the day when your hands are at their warmest and slightly swollen. Fingers shrink in the morning and in cold weather — you don't want a ring you can only wear half the time.

Method 2 — Measure a ring you already own

Pick a ring that fits the finger you'd wear this one on.
Lay it flat and measure the inside diameter in millimetres (across the widest part of the inside opening).
Look up your size in the diameter column of the chart below.

Between sizes? Most of our rings have a soft band so going up to the next size is usually the safer call — easier to take off, won't pinch on hot days.

Adjustable rings

A lot of our rings are designed to be adjustable — the band has a small opening that gently flexes to fit a range of sizes. Those are marked on the product page. For adjustable rings, you don't need to worry about sizing at all.
